We made it through the boarder controll without any issues. The only interaction about Nino was a soldiers' knock on the window where he was sitting and barking, giving him a short smile. After cheking our car insurance and passports, we bought enough credit for turkey's motorways.
We are bombing the roads along the north coast, trying to flee the heat a bit. It might be not too long until we enter Georgia to find shelter in the mountains.
None the less, the short interactions we had, were interesting and intense. Trying to pay our first dürüm and drinks, we got told, that it has been paid long before by some elderly turkish costumers. We couldn't believe it :)
It is a huge country with sometimes messy roads. The speed limits aren't always quite clear to us, which caused us the first fine of this journey, "inflagranti" catched up by police on the road. Ok we were clearly to fast...almost impossible with our old Flöckli ;)
Currently we're near Samsun, a pretty big metropole at the black sea. If our world was flat and our eyes the ones of an eagle, we'd maybe have a look at the other side of the sea, to look at the Krim.
We did not take any internet here in Turkey, so give us one ot two days and there will be new content :)
